FAQ
It is not, and here’s why.
Is the Metropolitan Museum of Art or the Louvre a funnel to sell paintings? Of course not.
Those who can afford the masterpieces displayed in world-class museums do not need a museum to discover or buy them.
They have expert advisors, private catalogs, and a highly individual sense of what they’re looking for.
Museums exist to serve the public — to make great works of art accessible, often for free or a nominal fee.
One could argue that if a painter’s work isn’t exhibited in a major museum, there’s little commercial demand for it. That may be true.
But the reverse is also true: artists whose work is exhibited in major museums have been deemed prominent representatives of their genre and time by curators and art historians.
The same logic applies to our experts. They are the Monets and Rembrandts of medicine.
We simply help share their wisdom with patients around the world.
Our clients come almost exclusively from the worlds of finance, law, technology, and entrepreneurship. They typically discover us through word of mouth.
Our fees are modest by their standards.
We’ve never raised outside capital, nor do we intend to. That decision reflects a deliberate choice to maintain full independence and avoid the pressure of generating quick returns to meet unrealistic IRR targets from venture investors.
Why we rejected the VC path:
The VC-backed model is broken for many patient-facing healthcare ventures.
VCs often incentivize growth at all costs:
- It has led to a flood of drug-pushing startups turbocharged by questionable social media advertising.
- It has also fostered relationships with insurance giants that are - arguably - too cozy, further distancing VC-funded ventures from patient needs.
- It has pushed companies to build business models tailored not for individuals, but for large corporations - losing sight of the patient.
Our mission is different:
We are building a global, independent medical expert network designed, in time, to deliver high-quality expertise at low or no cost to patients around the world.
In the future, we envision pairing similar cases so that an expert might offer one paid opinion and one free add-on consultation for a closely related case.
Many experts already agree to this model informally.
Currently, we don’t yet have sufficient case volume to scale this approach—but even today, we often formulate critical questions and receive non-remunerated expert input when appropriate.
The Value We Deliver
The reality is 99.9% of patients who watch our expert masterclasses would never be able to afford a consultation with a top Western specialist.
Our video masterclasses are not selling points. They are a public resource—meant to educate and empower patients to have better, smarter conversations with their local doctors.
